Good evening, middle school families. South Putnam Middle School is investigating a concerning student statement related to the school. We take all such matters seriously and are working closely with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. The student involved will not be in the building tomorrow as the investigation continues. The school administration and the student’s family are fully cooperating with law enforcement. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and all necessary precautions are in place for a safe school day tomorrow. Dr. Smith

Congratulations to Mrs. McKee and South Putnam Leo Club members. On Friday night our South Putnam stage was packed with students who joined together this year to create this organization in our school. Mrs. McKee with the help of the Cloverdale Lions Club sponsored the South Putnam Leo Club. It speaks to Mrs. McKee's passion for public service and commitment to the cause that she inspired so many students to join. Thank you to all the students who said "yes" to spending more time helping our school and the community. South Putnam adults and students are known for their generosity. This is more evidence of their kindness and focus on others. Thank you to the Cloverdale Lions Club who presented South Putnam with our very own banner! We appreciate their generosity and support!
