Today, our high school student drivers participated in a meeting led by our School Resource Officers, Deputy Driver and Deputy York.

They shared valuable advice on:

Safe driving habits
What to do in the event of an accident
What to expect if pulled over

We’re grateful for their time and commitment to helping our students stay safe on the road.

South Putnam Middle and High School was honored to host holocaust survivor, Irene Miller. Mrs. Miller spoke to middle and high school students about her experiences as a girl and young woman. She and her family fled Poland and spent years on the edge of starvation working to survive. Irene’s personal stories provided a powerful, living connection to World War II, bringing to life the lessons students have in both their social studies and English classes.
