Come out and support our middle school girls’ basketball team tonight as the play at South Putnam in the first round of the County Tourney.
If you missed South Putnam’s production of Romeo and Juliet you still have two chances to catch our talented students in action. Saturday night at 7:00pm and Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm.
MS Girls Basketball fought hard against the Tiger Cubs tonight. 7th grade got the victory, and 8th grade almost pulled out the win. Special thanks to our cheerleaders for their enthusiastic cheers and their Eagle pride as they took time to pick up trash out of the bleachers.
At SPHS we do everything with excellence, including hall duty. Thanks to Mr. Welti and Mr. Clark for going the extra mile this morning.

Our middle school swimmers were home against Cascade last night. It was terrific to see them compete and cheer on their teammates!
Congratulations to Dunkin York for placing 3rd with his Rotary speech, Serve to Change Lives. In it Dunkin answered the questions he posed: “Why do people serve to help others? Why do people go out of their way to make other’s lives easier?” He discussed empathy of personal experience, duty, selfless sacrifice and following positive role models. He concluded with the thoughts: “Love inspires service. Service changes lives. Lives change the world.” Well done, Dunkin and thank you for your support Mrs. Perrin.

7th and 8th grade both played hard fought games in the WIC Tourney today. 7th grade advanced to the 2nd round after defeating G’castle.
Close game between the sophomores and seniors today during homeroom as part of Homecoming activities. The seniors pulled out the victory today and will play the juniors tomorrow for the title!

To celebrate homecoming and FFA week we are having basketball games during homeroom. Today the Juniors beat the Freshman. Tomorrow Seniors will play the Sophomores.

Our Middle School Girls Basketball teams have been busy so far this season
South Putnam High School Student Council earned a grant to purchase supplies for the Putnam County Homeless Shelter. Thank you to these wonderful students for giving back to their community. #onemore
