Students in first and second grade STEM took to the skies with Civil Air Patrol activities! Second graders practiced place values using foam rockets, learning about their parts before launching them and recording flight times in hundreds, tens, and ones. First graders built balsa wood planes, explored their parts, and tested them on the runway, measuring and comparing flight distances using greater than, less than, and equal to. What a high-flying learning experience! 🚀✈️

First grade explored light and shadows in STEM. They used recycled materials to put on a shadow puppet show!

3rd and 4th grade students used LEGO Spike Essential to build and code a ski lift, while 5th grade students built and coded a high stick hockey carnival game.
South Putnam Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, February 20, 2025. This means there will be no AM DPK or Area 30.
