We are incredibly grateful to Keystone Cooperative for their generous donation to South Putnam Community School Corporation! Their contribution helped cover outstanding student meal balances and ensure our students continue to have access to nutritious meals.
Thank you, Keystone Cooperative, for supporting our students and our South Putnam community!
Our halls were filled with energy, smiles, and excitement today. A huge thank you to our students, teachers, staff, and families for making Day 1 such a success.
We’re looking forward to an incredible year of learning, growth, and Eagle Pride!

What an honor to welcome Ben Lytle to our all-staff back-to-school meeting this morning.
Ben founded Anthem, now Elevance. He built Silver Sneakers into one of the largest exercise programs in the country. In 2024, he was named a Living Legend of Indiana. He is the author of The Potentialist book series.
He could speak anywhere. He chose to spend his morning with South Putnam educators.
His challenge to our staff was simple: our students will grow up in a world none of us can fully picture yet, and our job is to give them what no technology can. Character. Wisdom. The choice to be fully human.
Thank you, Ben, for the encouragement and the challenge.
Every Student. Every Day. Go Eagles.

As we prepare to welcome our students back, I want to share a quick update from the South Putnam Café.
The health and safety of our students is always our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution and due to recent concerns regarding Cyclospora, we have made the decision to temporarily remove fresh lettuce from our menus. We are working closely with our local health department and will resume serving lettuce as soon as it is considered safe.
Please know that our students will still be offered fresh vegetables every day.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we put student safety first. My team and I are excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to serving healthy, delicious meals all year long.
See you soon, Eagles! 🦅🍎🥕❤️💙
