Taking one Advanced Placement class is very difficult and we are proud of every student that has pushed themselves academically. College Board awards honors to students that have excelled during AP testing and we have many students that have received these honors. College Board awards three very prestigious awards to students; AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, and AP Scholar with Distinction. In order for a student to be an AP Scholar they must take at least three AP tests and average a 3.0 or better on these tests. To be an AP Scholar with Honor they must take at least four exams and average a 3.25 or higher. To be an AP Scholar with Distinction they must take at least five exams and average a 3.5 or higher.
South Putnam High School is proud to honor our many AP Scholars from the 2021-2022 school year. We are very proud of these students and their achievements.
