Welcome to South Putnam Community School Corporation

South Putnam Community School corporation is located in south-central Putnam County.  The corporation covers an area of 163 square miles and is crossed by Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 40 to the east and west, and U.S. Highway 231 to the north and south. South Putnam has approximately 1,150 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade among three buildings including South Putnam Middle School/ High School, Central Elementary and Fillmore Elementary.  South Putnam is committed to equipping students for professional and personal success by guiding students to excellence according the Indiana State Standards and the five C's: communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and character.

Important Food Service Information
South Putnam Middle School-High School and Central Elementary food pick-up is from 10:30 am -12:30 pm on Friday, January 15th, Tuesday, January 19th (for Tuesday and Wednesday) and Thursday, January 21st (for Thursday and Friday) at the back of the high school at door #9. Occupants are to stay in the vehicle. Please complete the online form by 8:30 a.m. to receive a meal. (Click on this article for additional information and the link to the meal request Form).

Students New to the South Putnam School Corporation
For the 2020 - 2021 school year, parents must submit an Intent to Enroll/Request Transfer form for all NEW middle school and high school students, who are new to the corporation.
